Jeff, I appreciate your question
Jeff, I appreciate your question. However, there are some misconceptions that underlie your question. First, a contract is being executed. By viewing and/or posting on this site, a user agrees to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. (This is how all website terms of use work.)
RealNEO's terms are particularly important and unique because we state that we respect the intellectual property rights of our users. "You own your information, and maintain a copyright in all your Postings on this site." If you were not agreeing to a contract, you could not bind us to keep our promises to you.
Second, most websites have the same restrictions on minors that RealNEO does. You just don't realize it. See Yahoo's terms of service, which state "In consideration of your use of the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract" http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/
Generally, you must be over the age of 18 to form a binding contract. Minors can enter contracts, but minors can disavow or void contracts at will. Hence, a minor cannot enter a binding contract.
At any rate, please don't get the impression that we don't want youth to view this site. We hope that RealNEO appeals to all ages. Nonetheless, parents should know what their children are looking at on the web - including this site.
