Michael C. DeAloia is currently the
Senior Executive for Technology Development, “Tech Czar,� for the
City of Cleveland. In this capacity he is responsible for economic
development for technology-based companies.

Prior to the City of Cleveland position,
he was the Chief Financial Officer of BlueBridge Networks, LLC , and a
company that owns and operates Internet Data Centers and offers a menu
of managed Internet security solutions. Previous to BlueBridge, he was
the Business Development Director for Saltz, Shamis & Goldfarb
(SS&G), a large regional accounting firm based in Cleveland, OH.
He also created and managed SS&G’s New Economy Advisors Practice.
The new initiative offered special audit, tax and corporate finance
services to the new economy segment. He also shared responsibilities
with SS&G’s Capital Markets Group - adding clients in
capitalization strategies, valuation, and mergers & acquisitions
activity.

Before his tenure at SS&G, Michael
was President of Susan’s Coffee & Tea and managing partner of the
Leviticus Group. He gained substantial experience at Ernst & Young
and held positions at National City Bank’s Structured Finance and
Venture Capital groups.

He holds an MBA from the Weatherhead
School of Management at CWRU in the disciplines of finance and
marketing. Michael earned his undergraduate degree from Xavier
University in economics.
