Not much lead time

If I rush I can just catch the tail end of this presentation--I suppose the public comment is not of great significance, since this was posted on 8/21....and not widely advertised to my knowledge.  How do people find out events worth attending???? REALNEO?!

From the website:

Port staff, experts and board members have for months intensely reviewed the port’s needs and potential.  Their plan for the port is buoyed by initiatives such as:

Ÿ  Making the port a more robust maritime destination that can accommodate promising, next generation cargo opportunities;

Ÿ  Using the port’s finance and investment abilities in a strategic way designed to help transform Greater Cleveland’s economy; and

Ÿ  Making Cleveland’s port one of the “greenest” in the world.

-more-

The plan is the result of a collaborative process that drew upon input of business and government leaders from the city and county. The plan remains in draft form, pending input from the public. The Port Authority will refine the proposal further after seeking the public’s feedback and consideration. A public meeting will be held:

Wednesday, August 29

5 to 7 p.m., Room 229
Unified Technologies Center at Cuyahoga Community College
